DH Summer group draw

The draw for the group stage of DreamHack Summer has been made, with the eight participating teams having been split into two groups.

Held at the Elmia Exhibition and Convention Centre, in Jönköping, from June 17-19, DreamHack Summer will feature the standard format of the Open stops, with eight teams battling it out for $100,000 in cash prizes.

Six invited teams will be joined by the winners of the qualifiers in Europe and North America, Singularity and CLG, respectively, in the double-elimination group stage, featuring best-of-three matches in the Lower Bracket.

SK will face Singularity in the first round

The top two teams from both groups will advance to the best-of-three, single-elimination playoffs, which will determine the team who will walk home with the grand prize of $50,000.

The group draw has thrown up quite a few interesting matches in the first round, with Gambit taking on CLG in a rematch of the SL i-League StarSeries Season 3 encounter between the two, and MOUZ locking horns with Immortals.

Below you can find the group draw in full:

Group A Group B
Brazil SK Kazakhstan Gambit
Europe MOUZ Sweden fnatic
Brazil Immortals United States Cloud9
Denmark Singularity United States CLG

We share same opinions, but it's important to note that Gambit can make the surprise & pull off something even better than we saw in DH austin even tho they did great

because they'll bootcamp in EU, and there are good teams in this event as gambit, c9, mouses, fnatic, imt, that will be in the next tournaments as ecs finals,cologne,major... so this is a good start to practice

yup only team in this whole tournament against which a BO3 loss is even remotely acceptable is SK but still, I expect this lineup to stay together until after ECS and the Major. if they don't get top 4 finishes in either, then something might happen
