FaZe confirmed at ESL One New York

The SL i-League StarSeries S3 champions, who are currently ranked second in the world, join the previously invited duo of Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro, with five more teams still to be determined.

FaZe were last seen in action at IEM Sydney, where they placed second after losing out to SK in the final. They were unable to qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 3 finals, having finished seventh in the European division.

FaZe join ESL One NY team list

The announcement comes just hours after FaZe officially returned to WESA, which they had left in May of 2016.

ESL One New York will run from September 16-17 at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. Details about the prize money, the tournament format and the allocation of the remaining slots are expected to be revealed by ESL in the coming weeks.
