Ballistix stun EnVyUs in Minor opener

Ballistix have pulled off the first upset of the Europe Minor Championship after defeating EnVyUs 16-13 on Cache.

The first match of the Europe Minor began with a fast B execute from EnVyUs, who picked up the round thanks to a quad kill from Alexandre "⁠xms⁠" Forté. Ballistix hit back in the following round, however, and that force buy set them up for a great run as they jumped out to a 6-1 lead, with Maikil "⁠Golden⁠" Selim racking up 11 kills at this point.

It was only then that EnVyUs finally managed to string rounds together, but they were still limited to five rounds by at the end of the half as their executes remained largely ineffective against the Swedes' tight defence.

fnatic Academy, playing as Ballistix, beat EnVyUs

Ballistix piled even more pressure on EnVyUs by taking the pistol round and the corresponding anti-ecos, bringing the scoreline to 13-5. EnVyUs' defence then finally came to life, keeping out the Swedes in eight out of the next nine rounds.

Up 14-13, Ballistix reached map point thanks to a triple kill from Golden. Linus "⁠Bååten⁠" Andersson then turned hero, finding the opening kill inside B before getting three more frags to send EnVyUs to the group's Lower Bracket.

2 garbage teams, so boring to watch

Thorin on suicide watch, downplayed Fnatic Academy (now Ballistix) and sold EnvyUs as the team that would get through this qualifier easily. I hope that Ballistix can make it all the way to the major qualifier, that would be amazing given that they were an academy team a week ago.

As i said,they are playing under ballistix organisation for the "MAJOR"/major qualifier. After the major/major qualifier is done (if they make it there),they will be back to fnatic academy. They are still looking for another org.
