EnVyUs eliminate Kinguin at Minor
EnVyUs have eliminated Kinguin from the Europe Minor Championship with a 2-1 victory in the group's elimination match.
Kinguin began Nuke, their opponents' map pick, with the Counter-Terrorist pistol round going in their favour. In the following round, Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer was left alone against four and almost pulled off the clutch after killing three with the P250.
The Polish team then picked up yet another round before Envy were able to buy. The Frenchmen kept losing rounds – including the eighth one, which almost went to Envy before Bartosz "Hyper" Wolny clutched a 1v2 situation.
It was at that point that Happy's men managed to reply by winning two rounds, but Kinguin kept dominating the map and closed out the first half with a 13-2 lead. With yet another pistol round win, Kinguin easily finished off the first map with a crushing 16-2 score.

Starting out as Terrorists on Overpass, the Polish squad continued their mission to upset Envy. After winning the pistol round, Kinguin lost the anti-eco, which eventually set Frenchmen up for a 3-1 lead.
Despite a quad-kill from Mikołaj "mouz" Karolewski in the following round to assure the second one for his team, Envy managed to grab five in a row. When Kinguin finally pulled one off, they called for a tactical pause and, from that point onward, kept securing rounds until they reached the six-round mark by half-time.
In the second half, Kinguin got off to a great start with the pistol round win. After winning the subsequent two, the Polish team secured the gun round and seemed to be in charge of the map, but an ace from Alexandre "xms" Forté in a save round, which included a 1v3 clutch, got Envy back in the game.
In the 23rd round, it was xms, once again, who won the round for his team. Even though Kinguin kept trying to turn the game around, they could not stop the Frenchmen from taking the series to a third map.

The decider map was Cobblestone, where Envy started out as Counter-Terrorists, and they got off to a fantastic start, winning the first six rounds.
Karol "rallen" Rodowicz then clutched a 1v3 with low HP, but it was not enough to turn the tide back in his team's favour as Envy took a commanding 14-1 lead.
As for the second half of Cobblestone, Kinguin grabbed the pistol round and the subsequent anti-ecos. A triple-kill from Michał "MICHU" Müller in the 19th guaranteed one more round for the Polish team, but they lost the following one against a semi-buy from Envy. With plenty of match points in the bag, it was just a matter of time before Envy secured the win, which puts them through to the nextstage.
