PGL clarifies peacemaker role

PGL has indicated that Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu will not be allowed to stand behind TyLoo's players during the matches of the Major qualifier.

Having coached Misfits at the Americas Minor, Luis "⁠peacemaker⁠" Tadeu cannot be formally registered as coach by another team for the Major LAN qualifier, just like players are not allowed to represent more than one team at the offline events that comprise a Major's circuit.

This means that the Brazilian's role at the qualifier will resemble that of a consultant as he will only be able to guide TYLOO in between matches. Contacted by HLTV.org, PGL stated that the Chinese team have not registered a coach for the event, which will start on Thursday.

TYLOO, who finished in second place at the Asia Minor, will take on Liquid in their first match of the Major qualifier.

With no such roster restrictions in place at ESL One Cologne, peacemaker should take a more hands-on approach to coaching the Chinese team at the German event, which will take place from July 4-9.

Immortals never reached the peak they had with Peacemaker. Liquid was way better strat wise with him. Misfits showed a lot of potential with him. If you only watched the games...

yea, but i think they want to prevent that players/coaches who fail to qualify still can play on the major or related events. because then they had the unfair advantage of a second chance. this particular case doesn't fall under this category, but they're right with not allowing any exceptions. because if u make 1 exception more people will come and try to abuse it.

By far PGLEsports have really stupid rules, just to remind the same with academy teams, to confused same names. I know PGL longer as everyone from HLTV, before it was named PGLEsports, it has the name pgl.ro, which site also still exists. PGL.ro was a organization who established all eSports (CS, FIFA,SC2, DOTA) events for Romania (also was main organizer for Moldovia events), mainly was CS 1.6, there also was an active ladder, which was splitted in differents divisions, such teams like TeG, IGG, ZORN, Eq and many others. They also held the qualifiers for ESWC, WCG, Kode5, ect.. But already there was problems with the main organizer and that was PGL-Silviu and this guy also works for PGLEsports and I am 100% sure from him it cames all commands, also this hilarious rules about for peacemaker, not stay two teams. For defend peacemaker, he is the only and one coach who would managed two teams - is it not so like there many coach's who did the same, it's just him so why they enforce a special rules for that, it's typically "romanian flair". The same was also for the "Press pass" many persons also me inclucded asked for infos and waiting for weeks, some guys waiting over one month, this is not acceptable, so PGLEsports shows a really unprofessional view. BTW: One HLTV editor write about PGLEsports nicely apartment, I couldn't remind who was it, MIRAA or some others. So I really wondering why PGLEsports have two faces, one nicely side only for HLTV staff and the other side is like devil.
