Cloud9 beat GODSENT on Train

Cloud9 took the reins of the map right out of the gate, retaking a B plant from GODSENT and defusing the bomb to take the first round. After an anti-eco, the North American team won the first gun round. GODSENT won a couple rounds mid-way through the half, but Cloud9 locked it down and disassembled every offensive from the Swedish team.

Down 12-3, GODSENT won the second pistol round with a double by Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten and triple by Simon "⁠twist⁠" Eliasson to stay alive in the match. Eventually, GODSENT started to close the gap, decreasing Cloud9’s lead—who took a timeout at this point—to five rounds, 13-8. GODSENT's comeback was eventually rendered futile, as Cloud9 were finally able to scrape the last couple rounds to get past GODSENT, 16-11.
