ESL One Cologne third round match-ups drawn

ESL has revealed the match-ups for the third Swiss round of ESL One Cologne, which will send two teams packing already.

With the first day of ESL One Cologne now behind us, four teams are just one game away from qualifying for the playoffs, while four others are on the brink of elimination.

Day two of the $250,000 tournament will begin with a mouth-watering clash between Virtus.pro and HEROIC, with TYLOO and Cloud9 facing off for survival in the following match.

mousesports will take on NiP for a spot in the playoffs

The first clash between teams with a 2-0 record will pit Ninjas in Pyjamas against MOUZ. That means that at least one North American representative will make it to the playoffs as Liquid and OpTic will face each other in the final encounter of the day.

If current mouz had to play nip with friberg like two weeks ago, i think mouz would've won. But NIP with REZ looks really strong and its gonna be a tough match either way

VP might win vs. Heroic but I don't think they'll win the next one because it'll probably be North, SS, Navi, or Fnatic. In which case the only teams I think they have a decent to good chance of winning against is SS and Navi, depending on bans. North will crush them, fnatic knows them, and the other 1-1 teams, should they lose their 1st match, will fuck them with a huge dildo.
