NiP book playoffs spot over mousesports

NiP are the first team to advance to ESL One Cologne playoffs, as they picked up their third win in the Swiss group stage after a 16-10 triumph on Cache against mousesports.

Starting on the Counter-Terrorist side on Cache, Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný turned up with five kills in the first two rounds, the second of which was a full buy from Ninjas in Pyjamas on the back of a bomb plant in the pistol.

That allowed MOUZ to go up 4-0 before Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg stepped up to the plate with an amazing ace and a 1v2 clutch after only buying a Deagle at the start of the round. That kickstarted the Swedes into the first half, as they went on to grab four more rounds afterwards.

f0rest put up big numbers on NiP's way to playoffs

The Czech AWPer continued to put up numbers, this time a triple during aggression towards A main, helping MOUZ pick up the next three rounds. f0rest's quad-kill then gave Ninjas in Pyjamas their sixth round, but it was the European mixture who got away with the better half after clinching the last two for 9-6.

f0rest kicked off the second half with another flashy multi-kill, a quick triple with a USP-S on the B site, allowing Ninjas in Pyjamas to go on a five-round streak for an 11-9 advantage.

The next went MOUZ' way, but the economy reset came in once Ninjas in Pyjamas replied in the following round and proceeded to clinch a 14-10 lead, and the Swedes celebrated advancing to playoffs once they wiped the floor with their opposition in the last two rounds.
