DH Masters Malmo closed qualifier invites revealed

DreamHack has revealed the invites for the closed qualifiers for its upcoming Masters event in Malmo, Sweden.

With three spots at DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017 still up for grabs, the European qualifier will see the top two teams secure berths in the $250,000 tournament, while the North American qualifier will reward only the winner.

In both regions, the open qualifiers will come to a close today, with the top eight sides advancing to the closed stage, in which they will battle it out against eight invited squads for the chance to play in the main tournament.

don't underestimate flipside, HR, or heroic. if sunny is having a bad game, penta can easily fall apart. hellraisers are always a good upset team. heroic always seem to find a way to win against tier2 teams and upset some tier 1 teams no matter who they pick up. with jugi and niko, anything can happen. and then flipside looked super super solid at the qualifier. can't count them out nor maybe even enyvus. lets just hope renegades doesn't upset liquid. would be a shame having only optic represent NA if they will be playing like their current state with hazed.

Holy shit, pretty much all of those EU teams are better than every single NA team. Other than maybe Liquid who can go against some of the EU teams. The only way this is fair is to give all three spots to EU and let Liquid play in the EU qualifier, they were in Germany anyway.

Or, make NA Qualifier for only 4 teams and make EU qualifier bigger, like 16 teams or something

I agree people are making them out to be some kind of world beaters but they can't win two games in a row. All of the team from EU are much better (yeah I said it) the Dig is currently. They might be able to beat Godsent and HellRaisers (who seem to have fallen off a cliff since their break through)

dignitas is a better team than some of the team in this qualifier. they looked pretty decent at the major qualifier. still got a lot of work to do tho.

They took the current top five teams from the primer league (Otter, Mythic, Miami, Denial, and Rise). I don't see why people are acting as if they won't be able to do anything. They've beaten Pain and Denial already this season and are currently on a 7 game win streak. The biggest jokes are probably pain.

keep your heart out of this discussion and talk with arguments. flamingos are not even tier 2 at NA. the only outstanding player is marke. them are where they are in premier because of the money they have. if otter were flamingos they actually would have their five players at rank s, not at g like flamingos. u have to think, them have everything.. a nice house, excellents pc, the possibility of play with your whole team, and talk the whole day about cs, time to practice, time to everything and they havent achieved any win vs a tier 1 team. immortals in less time get a lot of important winnings, also the new LG, so why you think they could do something against great teams? it's impossible. u have to put yourself where u belong, and them are a tier 3 team. im not saying they wont improve but thats what they are now.

Brasilian scene it's more BIGGER than argentinian man, they have a lot of competitions there so it's more easy for them to perform well when they travel to NA... MF have a nice and new line-up, we just need to wait for the results, but remember this line-up have just 2 weeks... be patient.

EU is imo pretty stacked: Mousesports, HellRaisers, EnVyUS, PENTA, and Flipsid3. NA is between Liquid or Renegades... But mostly Liquid.
