FalleN earns ESL One Cologne MVP award

Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has been selected the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of ESL One Cologne 2017 for his role in SK Gaming's title-winning campaign.

The 26-year-old had the highest rating among SK's players in the tournament, 1.24, and was the joint highest-rated player of the final alongside teammate Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David.

Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo, who inspired SK to win the second map of the final with 34 frags, boasted a 68% success rate in opening duels, which was the second highest among playoff players, the fourth highest overall.

FalleN wins Cologne MVP medal

In the end, FalleN won the race for the MVP award over teammates Fernando "⁠fer⁠" Alvarenga and coldzera, both of whom also produced strong individual performances in the playoffs.

This is FalleN's second MVP award of his career after he also won the honour at DreamHack Austin 2016.

Yes, you can't compare them basically because FalleN is the igl (in my opinion the world's best), but kennyS is way too inconsistent at AWPing. Btw, kennyS still generally gets some of the best stats of the tournaments where his awping skills weren't on point. KennyS faster, I feel like you can't really be "faster" since the 2015 AWP nerf.

Yep, it´s difficult to say now who is the best in SK (and in the world). With Fallen, cold and fer playing like this it´ll be hard to determine who is the best in the world, if SK continues in this form, of course.
