Virtus.pro take down fnatic in Krakow

Virtus.pro went 2-0 up on their home soil, defeating fnatic 16-11 on Cache.

Virtus.pro's second round force buy got the Poles rolling on Cache, as fnatic's A site push was put to a stop by pistols. After going 5-1 up, Virtus.pro were 1v3'd by Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson, who found great timing on Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas to get another round on the board for his team.

Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski made a flashy 4K defending B with an AWP, shutting down a fast B play, and Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski picked up a hat-trick in a similar fashion in the following round as Virtus.pro went 11-3 up.

NEO was inspired against fnatic

Dennis "dennis" Edman's triple on the B site solo hold was what got fnatic a foothold back into the match, as the Swedish side was allowed to bring back a couple of rounds, starting with the following anti-eco's.

TaZ picked up a double entry in the first gun round, but a misplay while planting opened up the round for fnatic to retake the A site and secure a crucial round. That round allowed fnatic to bounce back after Virtus.pro snuck into the B storage room and took the site by storm, and the Swedes continued their CT side run.

fnatic got the score to just a two round difference, when Filip "NEO" Kubski and Paweł "byali" Bieliński picked up two kills each to get to 14 rounds, and the Poles closed out the following two against broken buy fnatic to win the game 16-11.

Yeah, I was curious why both of the teams played better CT side on Cache. I heard it's t-sided.

Don't forget that Fnatic won the CT Pistol and those after-ecos. VP made aswell silly mistakes in 2 rounds. that 3vs2 and the 4vs2 that they lost

Both teams are still failing to get out of T2 for real. Glad VP managed to win, glad pasza is back to business. Neo should practise his aim more though. P.S. JW and KRiMZ should replace allu and kio in FaZe, fnatic can't become T1 ever again anyway. Or -dennis +pronax, because they fail to surprise the T1 teams, they're even worse than G2, G2 at least defeat SK from time to time.

Tbh, i feel like lekro would be a good addition, imo they just play too individually. Its not the same fnatic as before but hopefully they'll bounce back just like vp seem to at this major

Lekr0 had his shiny period, but it's over, I think if to change a lineup, one should be 100% sure a new guy will do his job well. I'm not sure about -dennis, because frag-wise KRiMZ sucks, but I'm 100% sure they need pronax and Devilwalk (coach) back.

Replace allu and kio? Wut? Just because they are in a bit of a slump doesn't mean they should shuffle players. Do you have ADHD or smth?

VP need to beat Gambit... this is they best chance... after 2:1 they meet probably Astralis,G2, Immortals/Navi, mous/North... and then Faze come from 0:2...

I'm sure VP won't choke a 2-0 lead It's their territory in both terms, they are feeling it coming and are really motivated so should at least go to playoffs somehow
