Immortals defeat Na`Vi; go 2-1

Immortals have gone 2-1 at PGL Major Krakow after defeating Natus Vincere 16-10 on Overpass.

The first half saw Na`Vi secure the pistol round with a quad kill from Ioann "⁠Edward⁠" Sukhariev before winnning the corresponding anti-ecos with ease. The first full gun round also went Na`Vi's way, thanks to three quick kills from Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev inside A, propelling them into a 5-0 lead.

Ricardo "⁠boltz⁠" Prass then paved the way for Immortals to win their first round of the game with two opening frags in B. After losing the next round, Na`Vi got their sixth round of the game, but they could not follow it up as they lost an AWP showdown. The rest of the half was a complete one-way street, with Immortals winning all of the remaining rounds as Na`Vi simply could not keep up with the Brazilians' pace.

s1mple opened up the pistol round as Terrorist with three frags, with Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács winning the decisive 1v1 with a kill through a smoke. After securing both anti-ecos, Na`Vi won the first full gun round to retake the lead in the game.

Everything seem to be working out for Na`Vi, but then they were caught off-guard in an anti-eco round, with Lucas "⁠LUCAS1⁠" Teles getting three kills with a Desert Eagle. That one round turned the game on its head and left the Europeans in a state of disarray, as shown in the 23rd round, when they wasted a 4v2 afterplant against a double AWP setup, allowing Vito "⁠kNgV-⁠" Giuseppe to get four frags and the defuse. There was not much that Na`Vi could do from there, with Immortals eventually winning the map, 16-10.

-guardian +markeloff (good rifler and was pretty good awping 3k in one round against FaZe, also good support) -seized +angel/blade/zeus -edward +electronic/waylander maybe -flamie but would "destroy" the identity of Na'Vi

ange1 is a decent fragger but a mediocre IGL, the only time his team looked pretty nice was when b1ad3 coached them. i dont take into account ems katowice 2014 because it was so long ago waylander is really inconsistent, and tbh markeloff doesn't have enough consistency too, now he plays well but he also has bad matches, and Na`Vi already have enough players that have bad matches often enough -flam1e no way

Navis identity has been destroyed since markeloff and Zeus departure. It was a 1.6 team that is struggling in csgo for ages and when they found good results but didn't menage to get major titles so disfigured the team with Zeus gone. The moves you appointed are good though. I say +markeloff and angel. -seized and -guardian. Seized just proved he can play but can't igl

I'm sure he will once they ask him to. The only thing that he may require is to make his kicking harder, i.e. to add a condition to the contract that he will still get the same salary till the contract expires or till he gets bought out of it. s1mple&flam1e > Gambit easily, Gambit no chance against SK, I'm not sure they will defeat VP today.

Na'Vi needs a new IGL fast m8, the only saviour is ange1 literally aiming seized is so dumb, the whole match was him getting raped by boltz, and the t side was just as against g2, only 1 gun round won an the next they play like imt would have like 5 m4's and forget that imt is aggressive and get backstabed like potatoes

-seized -edward +Blad3 +eletronic I don't know the CIS scene very well but I think Blad3 could be a good IGL for NaVi. He seems to put a lot of hard work in the game and S1mple, Flamie and Guardian have enough firepower to play in any team. eletronic can learn a lot and improve more his game, it's a "promise". Any thoughts?

S1mple already played with blade and it seemed like he wouldn't let simple fly, worldedit once played w/o Blade for a champ for any reason and he was like a god and he said the reason was "no Blade" Electronic could fill in incredibly for edward or flamie(he is in a big slump) but i guess a better IGL than blade would be ange1 he is a good aiming(only problem would be 3 awps on navi(2 of them secondary), but aiming seized and blade are dumb) and he has a more loose playstile, like he would let simple and the rest try their style with more times than just strict tactics(not saying that its bad but its not navi way)

Sometimes the right thing that one good IGL needs to do is it "hold their players". I know s1mple is very good but sometimes he can't do a play that can put the whole team structure in danger. I think one good IGL can put simple in the right spot to shine.

Blad3 is not held in high regard in CIS, he wouldn't have the respect of the Na'Vi' players to make a successful IGL. That being said electronic has def proved his worth and deserves a spot on a tier1 roster.

Well, this is a good point. I'm not sure if ange1 is the right pick for NaVi right not. But it's now doubt they need to find a IGL. They have firepower but they don't have strategies and they don't know how to counter any team.

there are 2 ways for navi 1. - seized + electronic ( full yolo 5 aimers with no strats) relying on pure firepower 2. - seized + proper IGL
