Astralis edge past fnatic on Nuke

Astralis are now 2-1 in the PGL Major Krakow Swiss stage following a 16-14 victory over fnatic on Nuke.

The Danes started the Nordic clash as Terrorists on Nuke. After prevailing in the pistol round, Astralis lost their anti-eco and the following round despite putting up a good fight in the latter. Still, they picked up the first full gun round and followed it with other two.

However, fnatic responded with a nearly-flawless round that marked the beginning of six round wins in a row. In the 12th round, Astralis were about to halt their opponents' momentum, but Dennis "dennis" Edman took down the bomb planter with perfect timing. Then, the Swedes would lose only one out of three rounds until the end of the first half thanks to Jesper "JW" Wecksell stepping up in the last two.

Astralis have beat fnatic in a 30-round match

In the second half, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's men picked up their second pistol round of the game following some back and forth action. From that point, the Danish squad began racking up round after round and were only stopped in the 23rd.

After losing another round, fnatic still managed to get to a 14-13 lead, but Astralis replied with one triple-kill from gla1ve and other two from Nicolai "device" Reedtz to close out the map 16-14, and go up 2-1 in Krakow.

A good piece of a fight given by fnatic. Astralis doesn't look strong enough to defeat SK to be honest. May be Virtus.Pro shows up? Doubt so... fnatic, why nuke?.. -flusha/KRiMZ +pronax, they need finally an IGL that can actually make up strats.

Fnatic needs to improve their T-Side Nuke. I can see it becoming one of their maps if they can do so. Congratulations to Astralis for winning, great effort by Fnatic for making this a close map.

Becoming Nuke one of your best maps doesn't makes sense because most of the t1 teams vetoes it

When i saw the veto i was pretty sure astralis would have an easy game, oh boy i was wrong. Danish luck is on point today Fnatic needs flusha to step up, thats the only difference between this lineup and the best team of all time.

They might have won, but Astralis doesn't look good at this major.

Fnatic can't win against the elite teams when they have flusha as IGL. Flusha is best at killing people—not leading them. If you want to win in todays CS you got to have a natural born IGL, such as FalleN, karrigan, gla1ve, etc., and not a forced one such as flusha, whose fragging ability has worsened to a point where he competes with Pronax on the scoreboard.

Just remove Krimz or Olof and add Pronax. Olof has been useless for the past year, Krimz nowhere near his best form and Flusha is the usual cheater, once he stops IGL'ing he will once again go back to the top of the leaderboard and clutch rounds like crazy
