FlipSid3 come back on Train; eliminate PENTA

FlipSid3 take down PENTA, eliminating the European mixture from the Major, with a 16-13 win on Train.

Despite a vintage FlipSid3 late-round execute working out for the CIS team in the first gun round and Andrey "⁠B1ad3⁠" Gorodenskiy's team getting three rounds in after that, the first part of the half went in favor of PENTA, who picked up the pistol and a force buy to go 5-3 up.

The rounds kept rolling in for PENTA, as Kevin "⁠HS⁠" Tarn and Jesse "⁠zehN⁠" Linjala were able to shut down FlipSid3's late round executes with aggressive plays towards A main and B halls. PENTA's perfect CT side defense continued, with a great quad kill from zehN shutting down Yegor "⁠markeloff⁠" Markelov and co. as they tried to go into the site somewhat earlier than usual.

wayLander was pivotal in FlipSid3's come back against PENTA

PENTA secured the pistol round by overwhelming the B site, but the same tactic didn't pan out for the European mixture in the following one as Jan "⁠wayLander⁠" Rahkonen locked down the site with an ace on the force-buy. wayLander was the instigator of FlipSid3's second half comeback, as he was able to pick up multiple frags in quick succession, securing his team key rounds.

In round 25, Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend and HS turned a 2v4 situation in a 1v2, but Denis "⁠electroNic⁠" Sharipov resolved the situation with a single spray of AK47 to make the score 13-12. The following rounds came close, but markeloff and co. were able to lock down the remaining rounds to win the game 16-13

Penta played well first half and completely fell off in the second. They wouldn't have deserved to win that match after that comeback

Penta played so predictable. They dont change a thing in a whole T side. 4 guys pushing ramps (3 down, 1 up) and sunny goes connector or 3 guys mid 1 short, 1 alley (sunny). And they tried that so many times. They should just go for a fast mid push (like the eco, they planted) with the guns for fast plant and they could ez win.

B1ad3 and Zeus are best igls in the game atm. (and FalleN, of cource, but he have amazing skill in every other aspect of the game). So lets say CIS igls. Without B1ad3 back in the days, ukranians cs will be dead. Without B1ad3 in cs go nobody would give s1mple, electronic, waylander, bondik a chance.

Insane performance by botlander and electronic. Well done! Don't bash B1ad3 please, he is so good IGL and very underrated. Players like botlander started to tilt so much, b1ad3 takes all pauses in 1st half, calm down everyone and they go huge on CT side. You should never look on his stats, he brings so much elsewhere

wayLander = big game player. he hard carries in the important matches. like he carried Piter in 2015 when they took TitaN to triple overtime and beat G2 (polish) in the major qualifier. carried Gambit when they beat EnVyUs in the major. carried F3 when they beat NiP bo3 @ Cologne 2016 major. carrying his team RN at the major again.
