fnatic live to fight another round at PGL Major Krakow after defeating Natus Vincere 16-12 on Mirage.

Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev opened up the match with a triple-kill to help his team secure the Counter-Terrorist pistol round. When it came to the gun round, fnatic got a hold of the map with a successful B execution, but they could not follow it up, with Natus Vincere cruising to a 7-1 lead.

Then, in a semi-buy, Robin "⁠flusha⁠" Rönnquist got his team back in the game with an impressive 1v3 clutch. That round ended up swinging the tide in fnatic's favour as the Swedish team reduced the deficit to 9-6.

olofmeister and co. are now 2-2 in Krakow

As for the second half, the pistol round went the the way of fnatic in convincing fashion. Thanks to a triple-kill from Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev with a Desert Eagle, however, Natus Vincere did not let the Swedes string any rounds together. Still, both flusha and Freddy "⁠KRIMZ⁠" Johansson clutched 1v2 situations in the following two rounds to bring the deficit to a minimum.

Na`Vi were still able to win two more rounds, but their inability to build on them proved costly and allowed fnatic to take control of the game. The Swedish team eventually closed out the map, 16-12, which means that, for the first time since ESL Major Series One Katowice 2014, Na`Vi will not be in the playoffs of a Valve-sponsored event.

AdreN is the best player in this major by far, and he has been good since waaaay back. Hobbit is just learning the ropes and improving day by day. These guys are special. To say anything else is just retarded. Mou is a functional awper, but yeah, he's not star material. The thing is, for gambit he doesn't have to be. And Dosia doesn't need to be old Dosia, he just needs to be there for the team. So player for player, plus in the way they approach it as a team, Gambit is at the very least equal to old Na'Vi right now. Na'Vi went to finals because of Guardian and Zeus. Guardian hasn't been even a shadow of his former self since the injury. Thus, it leaves them with nothing but s1mple right now. Flamie has always been way too inconsistent. So if you ask me how it looks in 2017 (counting LAN's only cuz gambit online, lul): Zeus > seized AdreN > Flamie (AdreN <> s1mple - even based on entire year, this tournament alone adren is miles above in terms of actual impact) Hobbit < s1mple Mou <> Guardian Dosia > Edward So honestly, I think you're wrong. But, a lot of this is in the system as you mentioned earlier but still AdreN is one of the most talented players in the world in the way he gets his impact frags.

AdreN is their only heavy-hitter, and whatever teamplay you have, you won't defeat SK, because they have at least the same strong teamplay but also they have 4 heavy-hitters. G2 managed to defeat SK only when all players turned their A-game on and won duels, in case of Gambit they won't win enough duels by just teamplay, exactly because their only strong player is AdreN, the others just support him. You will see what I mean when Gambit faces some T1 team like SK. Don't even mention BIG, they played only inferno yet.

We're comparing Gambit and Na'Vi right now. Not Gambit and SK. I'm not saying Gambit is the best team in this major. I'm saying they are player by player better than Na'Vi right now and equal to the old Na'Vi. There is legit only one heavy-hitter on Na'Vi now too, which is s1mple. And this tournament AdreN has outshined him by miles because 90% of AdreNs frags has been highimpact, whilst s1mples have been highimpact around 30-50% of the time. And hobbit is up and coming, he's going to be a heavyhitter in the next few years when he's got more experience and logged considerably more hours as a full-time pro perfecting the craft.

I'm not comparing Na`Vi to anybody, the majority of teams at this major looked stronger than Na`Vi, but it doesn't change the fact that Na`Vi failed only due to not having a proper leadership, not due to having bad players. To me s1mple and flam1e look stronger than Dosia and HObbit, so Zeus and AdreN are the only 2 guys that they may need to keep, the others are easily replaceable by s1mple and flam1e. "Up and coming" means nothing, he can become strong, he also can stay at the same level. In the near past many of you overhyped freddieb and especially disco doplan, where are these guys? Lekr0 also disappeared after a couple of good tournaments. It means nothing till you prove yourself - not only your level, but also your consistency.
