SK win Brazilian derby; to Major playoffs

SK, who began the match as CT, got out to an early 3-0 lead after comfortably taking the pistol round, in which they did not even let their opponents plant the bomb. A scrappy period of play ensued as rounds were traded by the two teams, with Immortals eventually coming out on top, leaving SK to deal with a hard reset.

With the scoreline 4-4, SK went on a phenomenal run, winning six of the remaining seven rounds of the half to cruise to a 10-5 lead, with João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos leading the charge on 22 frags.

Immortals found a lifeline by taking the pistol round as CT, in which Ricardo "⁠boltz⁠" Prass got three kills to his name, but SK hit back on a force buy. With double kills from the Teles brothers, Immortals pulled one back, forcing SK to call a tactical pause.

At 11-8, SK won a force buy by the skin of their teeth as Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo killed the defusing CT player in the nick of time. With no money in the bank, Immortals were unable to prevent SK from hitting 14 rounds. felps was then left in a 1v2 situation but remained calm and collected to clutch the round and put his team on match point.

Lucas "⁠steel⁠" Lopes still rescued Immortals with a 1v2 clutch, but it was all for naught as SK closed out the game with an A execution, sending Immortals to the fifth round of the Swiss stage.
