Rogue have announced that they have completed the signing of a CS:GO team featuring former Liquid member Spencer "Hiko" Martin.

The 27-year-old has been out of action since stepping down from OpTic in March after filling in for the North American team for almost two months, during which he attended DreamHack Masters Las Vegas and IEM Katowice.

Joining the 2016 ESL One Cologne finalist in Rogue are Daniel "⁠vice⁠" Kim, Collin "⁠wrath⁠" McSweegan and Josh "⁠shinobi⁠" Abastado, three players who were part of the Enigma6 squad who secured a spot in ESL Pro League Season 6 by beating Rush in the relegation stage.

Hiko joins ex-Enigma6 trio in Rogue

Along with securing the core of the Enigma6 roster, Rogue have also acquired the team's Pro League spot. Former CLG coach Garett "⁠Grt⁠" Bambrough will be joining the players on their quest to "become a real contender over the next six months", according to a statement from the Las Vegas-based organisation.

"Having an opportunity like this does not come around often; Vice, Wrath, and I have worked extremely hard to get to this point and under the Rogue banner we will accomplish great things," shinobi said in a statement.

"Hiko and Grt are legends in the North American scene and their experience and veteran presence will help develop the incredible talent this team possesses into future stars.

"This is the strongest lineup I have ever been a part of and I am excited to tackle new challenges and help lead them to the top echelon of the CS scene. I'd like to give thanks to Rogue for this incredible opportunity and believing in this project, as well as to all of the fans supporting us."

Rogue have not made any mention of when then plan to reveal their fifth player, with the roster currently looking as follows:

He wants a team built around him. OpTic was already built and structured and Hiko was forced into roles he didn't want to play, also in Liquid there was just a shit ton of internal issues. Now that Hiko can actually form his own team from scratch (like Gob b) he can achieve greater successes.

Except Gob B has been a legendary IGL for longer than most can remember, and Hiko's a washed up star that never quite got his Tier 2 form back and turned down countless of good teams for so long that he now fell into obscurity and can't even land a Tier 3 team.

From what I found on Liquipedia, these would be the roles: Hiko: Lurker shinobi: IGL vice: Support wrath: Entry Meaning they would be missing an AWPer... That said, I believe that cadiaN is still under contract with Rogue... And he is an AWPer... I don't know if they'll be keeping him or if they'll pick up some other NA AWPer. If they pick up someone like WARDELL, I could maybe see this roster going somewhere. That said, I know nothing about Shinobi, vice and wrath... Perhaps they're good in their roles, perhaps not... I guess only time will tell. I am curious to see what happens though.

shinobi and vice are really average players, wrath is young and the only one with potential to be good, the other 2 never will be.
