FalleN rejects LUCAS1 rumours

SK Gaming veteran Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has quashed speculation linking his team with Immortals talent Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles.

The Brazilian giants have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old after crashing out of PGL Major Krakow in the quarter-finals following a 2-0 defeat against Astralis.

Lucas "⁠LUCAS1⁠" Teles, who played a key role in Immortals' runners-up finish at the Polish event, was one of the players on SK's list before the team eventually signed João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos, in February.

SK do not consider replacing felps with LUCAS1, says FalleN

However, Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo has guaranteed in an interview with ESPN that, since overcoming their slump following felps' addition, the team "has never considered changing a player."

"Lucas was one of the players that we considered, during a certain period he was to be our fifth player, but then we decided to go for felps because we thought we would be more successful with him," FalleN added.

"It was a team choice. The only thing that happened was that, when we failed in our first two tournaments, we had to make an adjustment, be it in terms of players, practice or posture.

"We talked during this difficult period and we started over. We accepted we were in a difficult moment and we worked from there."

SK will be at Arena MAX5, in São Paulo, this weekend, where they will face the winner of GamersClub Masters 2017, a Brazilian tournament with some of the best teams in the country, in a showmatch.

lucas1 playstyle is very unique, felps may be one of the best in terms of aim and mechanics in brazilian teams but I don't think he's better overall, he's just a version of fer with no patience and less discipline. csgo is a game where whoever take the best decision wins and felps is clearly lacking that needed gamesense for his role.
