DreamHack Masters Malmö match-ups revealed

DreamHack has announced the match-ups for the first group round of the Masters event in Malmö.

Kicking off next Wednesday, DreamHack Masters Malmö will feature 16 top teams from all over the world, who will square off for their cut of the $250,000 prize pool.

The tournament will kick off with a double-elimination group stage, featuring best-of-three winners and decider matches. The top two teams from each group will then progress to the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs to determine who takes home the grand prize of $100,000.

Na`Vi will take on Virtus.pro in the first round

After announcing the groups on Tuesday, DreamHack has now confirmed the match-ups for the first round, which will feature a nail-biting clash between Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro, and a French derby between G2 and Envy.

Immortals? Why? Do we even know which 5 they're going to play with at Malmö? Fnatic has looked insane in their first 4 games. They look like the best team out there by far from all the online games we've seen and we know they can deliver on LAN too. Sure, it's online games and it's early in the season, but a beautiful start is still better than a bad one. If Fnatic can play like they have online on LAN they could win the whole thing, especially since most teams are rusty and don't seem very coordinated. It will get much harder for Fnatic when the rest of them is up to speed and warmed up later in the year, but at the moment they have an opportunity. Immortals, on the other hand, is a bad team, they didn't deserve to play in the major final and even with perfect conditions, they are at most an upset team. Edit: I can't see C9 winning against North after watching Valde. He seems like he's possessed by the devil and the first games I saw from C9 looked really bad. Aizy could bring North down enough for C9 to have a chance, but I don't know.

Tough matchup for C9 and NiP but i wish them the best gl tarik and RUSH for their first c9 major tournament (ESL New York Qualifier went good so i believe they can win this match against North) NiP is another thing they looked Good at DH Valencia but FaZe is very hard to play now with Guardian But how i said before gl to both of them
