EnVyUs & Heroic qualify for ELEAGUE Premier

EnVyUs and Heroic have secured their place at the $1,000,000 ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier after coming out on top of the European qualifier.

The European qualifier for ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier began yesterday with the best-of-one portion of the single elimination bracket, which saw teams such as Kinguin, Gambit, and HellRaisers exit early.

From quarter-finals on, the qualifier was played in best-of-three series. AGO and HEROIC moved on to the semi-finals on the top side of the bracket, while Envy and ARES fought for their place at the prestigious tournament on the bottom side.

EnVyUs have qualified for ESG Tour Mykonos, ESL One New York, and now ELEAGUE Premier

Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer's squad triumphed in the French derby after a swift Cobblestone and a narrow Inferno, locking a spot at the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier. They were soon joined by HEROIC, who defeated Damian "Furlan" Kislowski & co. with ease, 16-8 on Inferno and 16-1 on Train.

Envy and HEROIC will each be placed in one of the four GSL groups of the $1 million event starting September 8. The groups are the following:

Group A  Group B
Europe FaZe Denmark North
France G2 Europe MOUZ
Ukraine Natus Vincere  Sweden fnatic
Other Qualifying team  Other Qualifying team
Group C Group D
Poland Virtus.pro Brazil SK
Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas Denmark Astralis
United States Cloud9 Other Qualifying team
Other Qualifying team Other Qualifying team

Group D only features two teams at the moment due to OpTic's disqualification after changing more than two players, by ELEAGUE's ruleset. To fill their place, ELEAGUE added a third spot to the North America qualifier, which is currently underway.
