G2 invited to BLAST Pro Series

The French side G2 is the fifth team to receive an invite to BLAST Pro Series starting on November 24.

Astralis and North were the first two teams to receive and accept the invites to attend BLAST Pro Series, an event organized by RFRSH Entertainment which is the company behind Astralis and HEROIC.

Later, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen's FaZe were announced as participants leaving only two spots up for grabs with one of them handed to G2.

The organizers announced it in a live video on Facebook and Periscope showing a huge board with a Counter-Terrorist, a Terrorist, and the event's logo painted on it. During the next two hours, two painters worked on the board and suddenly G2's logo appeared in the left corner while the right corner was left with a question mark.

Only one spot is left now, but it is expected that the last team for the $250,000 event will be announced very soon.
