Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov is set to leave MK, the player has revealed on Twitter.

The announcement comes just days after the Bulgarian team parted ways with British organisation Imperial, who cut ties with the players due to the squad being unable to attend Valve-sponsored events as a result of Simeon "⁠dream3r⁠" Ganev's VAC ban.

Kamen "⁠bubble⁠" Kostadinov has spent most of the last three three years playing for the Bulgarian team, who had stints with GPlay, E-Frag.net and Orbit before joining Imperial. During this period, they have been one of the strongest teams hailing from the Balkan region, winning the ESEA Season 22 Global Premier Challenge and placing second at Copenhagen Games 2016 and at the European Minor before MLG Columbus.

"I wish the best of luck to my old teammates," he told HLTV.org. "I do not think that the team can be at the top due to some reasons."

Contacted by HLTV.org, MK player Emiliyan "⁠spyleadeR⁠" Dimitrov stated that bubble will continue playing for the team until a fifth player is picked - which should happen before the new ESEA MDL season kicks off, on September 19.

With bubble's departure, MK will have:

Source has been given above. Dream3r's VAC is not the reason why he is leaving, although it can be a factor as well (since they can't attend majors with a VAC banned teammate). I mentioned his VAC as a reason of my 'hate' towards MK, not as a reason for bubble leaving the squad.

About time. Not only was he forced to NOT play the best tournaments but they forced him to play with yet another bot that most of the time can't get double digits in kills on some maps. This team actually had a lot to offer but sadly it looks like Bulgarian CS has no good existing coach/manager to bring together bubble, victor, dreamer, spyleader, and cerq and then work hard to help them secure victories in the tournaments that they could compete in. That would eventually lead to a lot of fans wanting dreamer's ban gone so they can see the team in majors and that would eventually happen. Things that would have taken A LOT of time, patience, practice and compromises. Things these "kids" are really not capable of as it seems. Picking shemeta from all the available promising teams just confirmed they are not reforming to actually achieve something. On top of that, obviously throwing matches must be tilting when you are trying to go big. Bubble probably has an offer which is why he is leaving.
