mousesports to Mykonos playoffs over Gambit

mousesports beat Gambit 2-0 in the Group A decider match to advance to the playoffs at ESG Tour Mykonos (16-14 on Cobblestone and Train).

The best-of-three decider game kicked off on Cobblestone where Gambit started on the CT-side. The Kazakhstani squad won the pistol round but MOUZ responded in the following round to tie the game.

MOUZ seven more rounds to extend their lead to 8-1 but Abay "HObbit" Khassenov and Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev stopped the European team to pick up their second round. Gambit trailed 6-9 at halftime.

mousesports made a big comeback on Train

Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's double kill in the second half pistol round made it 10-6 but Gambit responded in the second round (10-7). mouz were able to get three match points by making it 15-12 and closed it out 16-14 with Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný's triple kill.

The beginning stages of Train was drastically different as the T-sided Gambit won the first round with HObbit's triple kill and Bektiyar "fitch" Bahytov's 1vs1. The first weapon round also went to Gambit and the Kazakhstani team won six more round, leading 10-0. They had a 12-3 lead at halftime.

MOUZ won the pistol round in the second half to get their fourth round but lost the first weapon round 6-13. In the following round MOUZ won a 2vs3 and then won two more rounds (9-13). Robin "ropz" Kool got a triple kill in a 3vs5 situation to get his team to double digits and mouz eventually completed the comeback to win the map 16-14.

idk they won the major and they then decide to kick the coach idk why rumors say that he was unable to attend a wedding and that loosened relations, then they didnt treat zeus with respect even though he was the captain and made the team good. Without zeus gambit was going to be ez semis for fnatic again. Bottom line is, they won the major and randomly kicked their hard working coach and then they didnt respect the captain and the man who made them a major winning team. They are doing good with fitch's fire power though so gl to them.

The coach was not a hardworking person, he drank a lot and didn't perform his duties accordingly. Why then org's management + thier CS:GO squad manager and 4 others wanted to get rid of him with only Zeus (who is his close friend btw) being against the kick. Hobbit said that Zeus knew that even before the major that they gonna kick Kane, and told him that he's gonna stay. However, things got rolling when Na'Vi kicked their in-game leader and were in search of a new one with the Kane's kick being under way. Even if Hobbit did create that story about Zeus telling him that he will stay, leaving a team because ur lazy and irresponsible friend is about to be kicked is very unprofessional + I guess he also used the demands on 300% pay rise in his favor to justify the move. Anyway, he was in talks with Na'Vi because he wouldn't ask for such amount of money if he didn't have a backup plan.

well seized never got kicked, i mean zeus always wanted to join back, so when gaurdian left he joined the roster. but kicking his friend and not showing him, the captain who built the team and its structure respect doesnt help persuade the star player to stay. but i understand where you are coming from, i didnt know too much about kane before hand.

Gambit is so easy to read. Always trying to sneak and push around corners doing the unexpected. Just double check for their ridicoulus moves and ez win. They have good spray control, but just hs tap them while they are spraying around.

STYKO is in a difficult position fitting into this team and his roles, he will need an adjustment period. TBH though it just shows how good ropz and sunny are. Once STYKO is settled in and if they just had CT sides, it'd be an exciting team. Good for them, hard work pays off
