Giants Gaming have announced that they have completed the signing of Ricardo "rmn" Oliveira from k1ck.

The Portuguese player joins the Spanish team after the two organisations reached an agreement for his transfer, replacing Raúl "⁠DeathZz⁠" Jordán Nieto on the active roster.

The 25-year-old follows in the footsteps of former teammate Christopher "⁠MUTiRiS⁠" Fernandes, who signed for Giants at the start of the month.

Just like his compatriot, Ricardo "⁠roman⁠" Oliveira donned k1ck's colors for many years, both in 1.6 and CS:GO, and attended multiple international events with the team, including three ESWCs and WESG 2016 Europe.

"I am proud to play for an organisation as big as Giants," roman said in a statement. "I have never been this motivated to compete with a team, and now it is time to prove that we are the best organisation in Spain."

This will be roman's second stint with a Spanish organisation, after he played for OverGaming in 2015 alongside MUTiRiS and former mousesports member Christian "⁠loWel⁠" Garcia Antoran.

I'd say its the scene which has grown the most this year with that new ESL league. I honestly think one of the top spanish teams (Giants, MRDS, x6 or G2V) will give a surprise in some tourney this next year.

During long time portuguese scene didnt show up via WORLD,only fox back in the day and maybe 1 or 2 more had skill enough to play outside portugal. Portuguese players always felt bad because the sponsors werent good enough to feed their lifes so it was kinda impossible to live from CS,at the times it was 1.5..1.6 but mostly at 1.6. What happens? In 2 years after Fox join Kinguin,not only fox came out of portugal but KillDream did,now rmn and Mut does,and some of other people outside of our country most of who never helped but basicly flame hard from years,what they do? they appear here and talk shit,are we livin real life? we are,thats why its pathetic,lettin u know,that u dont help anything with bad motivation,insults etc,what u does to someone life will take care of it and let u learn from. pz Kabiriz
