Caio "zqkS" Fonseca has stepped down from Ghost Gaming, Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki has revealed on social media.

The future of the Brazilian player had been up in the air since Matthew "⁠WARDELL⁠" Yu returned to the team following a brief stint with Rogue before the start of the ESL Pro League season.

In the closed qualifier for DreamHack Open Denver, Ghost fielded Jason "⁠neptune⁠" Tran as their fifth player, but the 16-year-old has linked up with Nitrious for the new ESEA Premier season.

zqkS plans to further his career in Brazil

Dallas "⁠Dallas⁠" Micks, who was part of the Torqued team who won the WorldGaming Canadian Championship, in Toronto, has been brought in as Ghost's new fifth member. The 23-year-old, formerly of ACE and RONIN, will be hoping to help his new team kick-start the season after they lost nine of their first ten games in the Pro League.

Contacted by HLTV.org, Caio "⁠zqkS⁠" Fonseca stated that it was "interesting to play for a North American team" and added that he wants to join a Brazilian team and "start over".

With this move, here is how Ghost's Pro League roster currently looks as follows:
