Heroic to field Pimp in WESG qualifiers

Heroic have added Jacob "Pimp" Winneche to their roster for the Danish qualifiers for WESG 2017.

The Danish player will step into the shoes of Andreas "⁠MODDII⁠" Fridh, who is ineligible to compete with the team due to the tournament's nationality restrictions.

Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche has been without a team since March, when he stepped down from Liquid after requesting to be transferred. However, a move failed to materialise, and he ended up being released by the North American organisation in July.

Pimp will help Heroic in the WESG qualifiers

The Danish WESG qualifier will run on October 20-21 and see teams battle it out for two spots at the European & CIS Regional Finals, which will be held in Barcelona from November 22-26.

Heroic will field the following roster in the WESG qualifiers:

Patrick "⁠es3tag⁠" Hansen
Jakob "⁠JUGi⁠" Hansen
Nikolaj "⁠niko⁠" Kristensen

Why would it be for good? Heroic aren't dropping Moddii, it's just for WESG as you need a team of the same nationality.

I'd go as far as to say that Heroic as a team are in better shape than NiP and fnatic seem to have found that Golden fits the IGL role well for them. Some people just here for the b8.
