OpTic and Space Soldiers qualify for Europe Minor

With 3-0 records in the closed qualifier's Swiss group stage, OpTic and Space Soldiers have made their way to the Europe Minor.

The first three rounds of the closed qualifier are now nearly over, as the two teams have secured their place at the Europe Minor, while LDLC and Japaleno exited the tournament after three losses.

A number of upsets have taken place so far, most notably eXtatus taking down LDLC and GODSENT before dropping to OpTic in the third round in spite of a 9-0 lead on Train.

OpTic secure Europe Minor spot after three straight wins

ex-Outlaws followed a similar path, defeating Envy and HEROIC on their way to a 2-0 record, but Space Soldiers snatched the Minor spot away following a quick Mirage.

In the meantime, Ninjas in Pyjamas are in danger of missing the Minor for the second time in a row, as they're currently sitting on a 1-2 record, which included a crushing loss to TEAM5 in the first round.

The team list for the Europe Minor, taking place from November 2-5, is the following:
