TheMongolz secure visas for IEM Oakland

The winners of the South-East Asian qualifier for IEM Oakland 2017, TheMongolz, have secured U.S. visas that will allow them to participate in the event.

Enkhtaivan "⁠Machinegun⁠" Lkhagva and co. qualified for the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters event back in September, beating teams such as MVP PK and Chiefs along the way to claim the Asian spot at the event.

ncl and co. won't miss out on a big tournament this time

Almost a month later, The MongolZ have announced that their players have received visas for the United States, which means that they will actually be able to play at the event. The Mongolian team had issues with visas last year when they qualified for the MLG Colombus Major Qualifier, and had to skip the event due to that. In the end, Splyce came in as a last-second replacement and managed to earn a spot at the Major.

The last big international event for The MongolZ, who are currently ranked #106 in our rankings, was IEM Katowice 2016, while they finished 5-6th at the two last Asian Minors that were held.

Just to remind you, IEM Oakland 2017, will be held on November 16-19 and will feature a $300,000 prize pool, with the following teams in attendance:

SK	The MongolZ
Envy	OpTic

I will say G2 aren't playing so good again it's not because I want to go against you but they haven't played so well again and DH Masters Malmø was more other teams who fucked up there made them win but they won ofc I can't take it away from them I will just mean they don't perform as a number 2 team

I am glad your ideas aren't reflected by whom you're replying to. G2 themselves said that they weren't expecting to win. But the main reason that I believe they will perform superior is their abilty to improve themselves after a hard or unanticipated loss. After a loss many teams consider changing the roster instead of changing the roles or their game-flow.

yeah I agree with that idea that you can still just change thinks on the teams you doesn't need to change the players and G2 has a strong line-up they just need to figure out how they play best then I believe that they can be pretty deathly but they jsut haven't found it yet :)
