FaZe beat TyLoo; to EPICENTER group stage

FaZe picked up a 2-0 win over TyLoo (16-9 Inferno, 16-9 Cache) in the EPICENTER 2017 Wild Card Qualifier, earning a spot in the group stage that starts tomorrow.

The series started with FaZe securing the first five rounds on the Terrorist side of their map pick, Inferno. TYLOO then managed to reply with two of their own, as a combination of banana aggression and good A holds paid off, and then won an anti-eco cleanly to make the score 5-3.

FaZe continued their run after that, with Hansel "⁠BnTeT⁠" Ferdinand's triple kill on arch in round 11 earning TYLOO their fourth and final CT round. The second pistol looked promising for Ke "⁠captainMo⁠" Liu's team, but they let a 2v2 afterplant slip out their grasp as Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen pulled off a smoke-defuse.

Despite being 13-4 down on the Terrorist side of Inferno, TYLOO managed to pull back the game back a bit, with HaoWen "⁠somebody⁠" Xu's hat trick getting them a key round in that run. Towards the end of the game, FaZe kicked into a higher gear—Håvard "⁠rain⁠" Nygaard and Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács especially—, and shut down the enemies' approaches to make the final score 16-9.

FaZe move on to the main event

TYLOO won their first pistol of the series on Cache, pushing the A site and holding off the retake, but lost to FaZe's pistol-armor buy in the following round and started the map 3-1 down. In the first buy round, the Chinese side went for an A execute that worked out in the end, despite losing the first two entries to FaZe. After fumbling a 4v2 advantage in the next round, TYLOO managed to stabilize and take the lead, going up to 8-5.

Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer stepped up with a big 1v2 clutch on A towards the end of the first half and his team ended it with just a single round deficit. After switching to the Terrorist side, FaZe went for B-site pistol round rush that worked out for them, starting their comeback. The European side then went on a run of seven straight rounds, with TYLOO not having an answer for their pick-style. Vladyslav "⁠bondik⁠" Nechyporchuk was able to clutch out a 1v1 against Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač to make the score 14-9, but only delayed the inevitable defeat as FaZe closed out the game in the next two rounds.

U can't say for nothing they got lan experience with Bondik and they got at least 5k travel compensation. Hope soon there will be tier 1 Chinese cs team it will be beneficial for whole cs community maybe we will have some improvements in game and bigger prize pools maybe even international like tournament .

If you are relying to me, stay away from 12 year old nonsense replies... The only time I believe HR played TyLoo at leacet recently officially was here hltv.org/matches/2311895/tyloo-vs-hellra.. Other than that, HR is the team that is always playing EU teams, has more chances of going to events, are more experienced, waaaaay more than TyLoo, regardless of the line up change, so stacking up HR with good players is worth more than betting on TyLoo who barely leaves their country and are barely getting invited, having less chances of praccing against good EU teams and so on, and so forth, making it almost impossible to ever show better results than HR could/would even taking into consideration that both aren't the best, but still.......... and you know it yourself, but you decided to post your 12-15 year old non sense comment here just like the majority of HLTV's kids who would, but i never understand why, just pass by if you have nothing useful to say, you'll look smarter not replying then replying with what you did, no offence ;)

I'm all for Tyloo getting better, but I think in order to do that they need to all learn English. Best coaches speak English, best online resources are mostly in English, all the best players have a crossover language of English. If they could come to NA or EU to work hard at their game for a while with clear communication I think we would see a completely different Tyloo.
