DreamHack announce 2018 Open circuit details
DreamHack will hold eight Open events in 2018, of which seven will feature CS:GO as the main title, the organizers have announced.
The 2018 DreamHack Open circuit remains largely the same as in 2017. Eight locations across Europe and North America will play host to next year's circuit, as opposed to nine in 2017, with the Denver stop discontinued.
However, the Leipzig stop in January will not feature CS:GO because of its clash with the ELEAGUE Major taking place January 19-28.

The format also stays, as each of the $100,000 events will feature eight teams, six of which will be directly invited and the remaining two will come from qualifiers in Europe and North America. In some cases, there will only be five invites and one wild-card team coming from a region not covered by a qualifier.
Every tournament will begin with a GSL group stage, with BO1s in the upper part and BO3s in the lower, followed by single-elimination playoffs - no changes once more.
