Astralis confirm device return at the Major

Astralis have formally confirmed that Nicolai "device" Reedtz will play for the team at ELEAGUE Major Boston.

The 22-year-old returns to Astralis' roster after missing the last three events of 2017, BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals and the ECS Season 4 Finals, due to medical reasons.

Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman filled in for Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz in Copenhagen, where Astralis finished second to SK, while Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel was the team's fifth player in Odense and Cancun, where they placed 9th-10th and 3rd-4th, respectively.

In a video posted on Astralis' Twitter, device admitted that it was "tough" to be on the sidelines during this period and stated that he is "looking forward" to competing at the Major. 

As one of the top eight finishers from PGL Major Krakow, Astralis have secured direct entry into the ELEAGUE Major Boston's New Legends Stage, which kicks off on January 19.

The Danish team will attend the Major with:

He cried online that if they had Device, Astralis probably would have had better results (winning championship in one case). But if you look at the stats Dennis and Rubino were better than Glaive. I know he is IGL, but at this lvl IGL's need to show up as well... if not better to be a coach than IGL (IMO). Look it up.. it's on Twitter. Fer from SK burned him sometimes after his BabyRage. If you don't find it.. maybe I can help you ;)

Excited as well.. although I'm more of a SK/VP fan. I like Device (and Xypex and Kjaerby). Not so big fan of Glaive and (I don't know why) can't stand Dupreeh lol (maybe meeting him in person might change this ;)
