Cloud9 ease past mousesports; through to next stage

The final match of the day saw Cloud9 get out to a massive nine-round lead before MOUZ could get their first round on the board, with the CTs' double AWP setup proving very effective against the Europeans.

That round win sparked a great run from MOUZ, who won three of the next four rounds before Cloud9 bagged the final round of the half on an extremely shoddy buy.

autimatic was in great form throughout the match

Down 11-4, MOUZ kept themselves in the game after taking the pistol round, but then they were caught off-guard by Cloud9's force buy, with Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta picking up four kills.

The Europeans took a while to get their economy back in order. With no margin for error, MOUZ went on one final buy, but they could not keep the Terrorists at bay, putting them into an impossible situation for a comeback.
