RES Gaming sign Dynasty roster; potter recruited

RES Gaming have announced that they have secured the services of the Dynasty female squad.

The move represents the first foray into esports of The Royal Emirates Sports Academy (TRESA), which manages over 1,012,396 sqft of world-class sporting facilities at the Dubai Sport City.

The ex-Secret team switches organisations approximately six months after linking up with Dynasty, under whom they won the ESU Masters and Cross Border Esport's female competition.

Along with the announcement of their new home, the team have officially confirmed the addition of Christine "⁠potter⁠" Chi, who replaces Petra "⁠Petra⁠" Stoker on the roster. The 31-year-old, who joins from CLG Red, is one of the most decorated female Counter-Strike players, with six ESWC titles under her belt.

"We have faith in the ecosystem we are beginning to create here in Dubai for E-sport and I believe that we have the right people in place to make it happen," RES Gaming president Christian Wilhelmsson said in a statement.

"RES Gaming is a winning combination, with their strong backgrounds, we are destined for trophies and titles in the future."

HLTV.org has learned that the team will move to Dubai later this year, with the players having the option to bootcamp in Europe ahead of big events.

I still don't get why eSports have female/male separation. There is no physical prowess involved other than Eye-Hand Coordination, which they are fairy equivalent in both genders. I would like to see mixed team. I bet, vilga with rating 2.0 of 1.42 would perform well, even if in a more competitive environment her statistic could drop, I bet she would so many males behind her stats, so Valve and leagues, why the separation?
