G2 better Liquid; go 2-0

The match on Inferno featured Liquid and G2 who both won their first games. Starting on the CT-side, the Frenchmen won the pistol round cleanly and subsequently made it 3-0 with the anti-eco victories.

Dan "⁠apEX⁠" Madesclaire got a double kill in a 2vs2 situation in the first weapon round to extend G2's lead to 4-0. Liquid got on the scoreboard on the ninth round and made it 8-2 with Wilton "⁠zews⁠" Prado's 1vs2 clutch. However, G2 didn't let Liquid go on a long streak and Kenny "⁠kennyS⁠" Schrub's team won the half 12-3.

G2 came out on top against Liquid

Liquid made an agressive push on Middle in the second half pistol round, getting two early kills and winning the round to trail 4-12. After losing another round, G2 bought early and won it to make it 13-5. Liquid responded quickly and reset G2 (13-6). Nick "⁠nitr0⁠" Cannella clutched a 1vs2 in the next round.

When the score was 13-8, Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon got two opening kills with a Deagle as G2 edged closer to the victory (14-8). The Frenchmen finished it off with a 16-8 scoreline, getting their second win Atlanta.
