kNgV-: "Acted impulsively, but never out of malice"

The 23-year-old was on Thursday released from his contract with 100 Thieves, who stated that the player used "offensive and inappropriate" language during a heated Twitter exchange with Thorin at the weekend.

This was not the first time that Vito "⁠kNgV-⁠" Giuseppe came under fire for comments made on social media. In September, the Brazilian player shockingly threatened Pujan "⁠FNS⁠" Mehta following a joke made by the former CLG member about three of Immortals' players being hungover on the final day of DreamHack Montreal - where they forfeited a map to North in the title decider after failing to show up on time for the match.

kNgV- plans to take Thorin to court

In a lengthy Facebook post, kNgV- admitted that he feels Thorin has been making "defamatory" comments about his team "for many months", and revealed that he plans to sue the British analyst - even though he regrets making sexual orientation comments on social media.

"He made direct insinuations about my team with regards to drug use," kNgV- wrote. "That is a very serious accusation because it affects not just me but also my family, considering that my mother and sisters were immediately asked about this senseless matter.

"I am taking all necessary legal actions for slander and defamation against this person. This is something that has been going on for several months. 

"After this accusation, I made a mistake using a sexual situation as an argument, it had nothing to do with homophobia or prejudice, but I agree that it was inappropriate. I have to say I was in a very delicate emotional situation after not being able to play the Major, which was my biggest project for the year.

"Right now, I feel complete frustration for not having been strong enough to resist the constant taunts from that analyst, who is probably celebrating my departure from 100 Thieves."

kNgV- went on to write that he hopes "some doors will open" for him and his family, and hinted that he plans to carry on playing.

"I believe nothing happens by chance, and I am sure that this door has been closed so that others can open in my life and in the life of my family.

"I would like to thank 100 Thieves for the brief period I spent on the team. I am sure that it has added a lot to my professional résumé and to my personal growth. 

"For those who like me and my work, I want to say that I will see you in soon. I still have many shots to fire in the matches that I will play around the world. For those who do not, I just ask that you understand that, in this situation or in other situations, I acted impulsively, but never with malice or intent to harm anyone."
