Former CLG member James "hazed" Cobb has joined Mythic's ranks, the North American organisation has announced.

The 28-year-old joins the team as a replacement for Alexander "⁠LeX⁠" Deily, who, according to Mythic, has stepped down from the roster to spearhead the organisation's Battalion 1944 squad.

The announcement follows Mythic's disappointing start to the season, having lost their first three matches in ESEA Premier, against Mask Off, Ghost Academy and RONIN.

hazed replaces LeX on Mythic

James "⁠hazed⁠" Cobb, who attended five Majors with CLG between 2015 and 2016, was last seen representing Muffin Lightning, who narrowly survived relegation last season and are currently playing under the name Swole Patrol.

With these changes, Mythic now have:

Adam "⁠Polen⁠" Polen
Todd "⁠anger⁠" Williams
Eric "⁠adreN⁠" Hoag
James "⁠hazed⁠" Cobb

fl0m and Lex are the owners of Mythic. Mythic does not make roster moves and do not get rid of any players unless a player decides to step down. In this case, Lex, who is going to start the team in Battalion. The purpose of the team is to be able to showcase what teams go through in terms of practice, games, etc. and that is why they are a stream team. They will go however far it takes them.

Shroud is contracted by c9 and will cost a fortune to buyout. C9 will not let him go when he’s advertising C9 and all their sponsors to 30-40k people each day. Summit also can’t stream MDL matches as he is sponsored by Monster. If you stream MDL you have to have the MDL logo on your stream for the game, conflict of sponsors

Summit can’t play in MDL league and stream because of his Monster sponsor. If you stream games you have to have the MDL logo on your stream. It’s the reason he stepped down in the first place
