Renegades have added Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad to their roster to fill in the gap left by Keith "NAF" Markovic's departure.

Joakim "⁠jkaem⁠" Myrbostad, who, according to Renegades, will be a stand-in "for the upcoming CS:GO season", spent the majority of 2017 playing for dignitas, after parting ways with FaZe. That team didn't have a great year overall, but they were on the verge of qualifying for the PGL Krakow Major, eventually going out 2-3 in the Swiss stage following a defeat to Vega Squadron in the fifth round.

jkaem has spent a large part of his career on English-speaking teams

The Norwegian had recently announced his comeback with a domestic lineup NOREG, but his stint in that team ended up being short-lived as the call-up to Renegades sees him pack his suitcases and move to North America.

Renegades, who will attend StarSeries i-League Season 4 and IEM Katowice, now have the following roster:

Aaron "⁠AZR⁠" Ward
Karlo "⁠USTILO⁠" Pivac
Noah "⁠Nifty⁠" Francis
Joakim "⁠jkaem⁠" Myrbostad (stand-in)
