Team list for ECS Season 5 NA Closed Qualifier finalized

The first stage of qualifiers for ECS Season 5 in North America has been brought to an end, as four open qualifiers have been played out. Four best teams from each open qualifier earned spots in the closed qualifier, leaving us with a total of 16 teams in competition for four spots at the ECS Challenge Cup.

FNS's new team, compLexity, made the closed qualifier

Two notable teams made through the first qualifier, namely Splyce and Complexity, while three MDL S26 Global Challenge LAN participants qualified through the second one: Rogue, Rise Nation and Dignitas (formerly SoaR). 

Bravado, who just recently made the jump across the Atlantic, also made the Closed Qualifier, as did Mythic, now featuring James "⁠hazed⁠" Cobb, and the Brazilian side TeamOne.

The format for the competition, that will take place on February 16-18, was not confirmed at this point, however, it is known that the four best teams from the Closed Qualifier earn spots at the Challenge Cup.

There, qualified teams will take on ECS S4 relegated teams Immortals (who currently don't have a roster) and Ghost, as well as two invited teams for two spots in ECS Season 5.
