StarSeries second round matchups drawn

The second round matchups at StarSeries i-League Season 4 have just been drawn live on the secondary stream.

The first round saw most of the favorites prevail in relatively confident fashion, as SK, Cloud9, FaZe, G2, and Natus Vincere grabbed 2-0 wins in their series.

The only two series that went to three maps so far were between Gambit and fnatic, where Dauren "⁠AdreN⁠" Kystaubayev's side claimed the win despite losing the opener, and Virtus.pro versus MOUZ, which saw the European mixture prevail.

Gambit will face off against Natus Vincere for the third time in the last three months

One match is still being played out, as Astralis are currently 1-0 up in the series against Liquid following a dominant Mirage, with Inferno underway at the moment.

i think it will be a close game so 2-1 for hr imo, faze and c9 will be a clash but since its just pre playoffs i guess they dont give a damn and so faze wins :) gambit is really good on lan and navi struggles so often lately. g2 has always upset potential but we need to see the a game of kenny and shox

How are the #1 and #3 ranked teams in the world playing each other. They really need to do something about seeding for more than just round 1. No matter who wins one of the top 3 teams in the world will go 1-1 when they should be both going 2-0.

I'm wondering if bo3 playoffs can still make sense after bo3 groups, imagine two teams rematching with a different issue, it'd look a bit unfair
