Renegades move past HellRaisers; to playoffs

Renegades are through to the playoffs at StarSeries i-League Season 4 following a quick 2-0 victory over HellRaisers.

Nuke, the opening map of the series, began with Renegades winning the opening pistol and the first gun round to start off the game with a 4-0 lead. HellRaisers then surprisingly rallied back with nothing but CZs, with that round win propelling them to a fantastic run as they lost just one of the next ten rounds, with Özgür "woxic" Eker and Kyrylo "ANGE1" Karasiow doing most of the work for the team.

Renegades then won the final round of the half, bringing the deficit to just three rounds, but they were unable to keep that momentum after the break as they lost the pistol round to an A execution from HellRaisers.

It looked like HellRaisers were on course to build a sizeable lead, but the Australians hit back in the ensuing eco, with Justin "jks" Savage closing out the round with two quick CZ kills. After that, the game turned into a one-sided affair as the rounds HellRaisers edged out were few and far between, preventing any economic development on their part. With the score tied at 13-13, Renegades strung three rounds together to put the game to bed and secure a 1-0 lead in the series.

Renegades are through to the quarter-finals

Renegades came out of the gate looking the livelier of the two sides and ran all over the HellRaisers defence in the first seven rounds of Cache. But just when it was threatening to be a bit of a rout, the Europeans finally woke up and won two straight rounds, the second of which off of a quad-kill from woxic with the AWP. However, that did not change the game significantly as the Australians secured an impressive 11-4 scoreline into the second half.

HR kept their hopes alive by taking the pistol round after selling an A fake. A scrappy period of play ensued as eco rounds were traded, but once Renegades got their economy back in order, it was all over for the Europeans, with Noah "Nifty" Francis hammering the final nail into HR's coffin with a great quad-kill.

Well no option for him sadly. >Mouz has oskar >SS is an option but trust issues between w0xic and calyx since calyx snaked on him by joining SS. Unless some new international powerhouse appears I don't see many options for him. And no, OpTic isn't an option because they will go Full Scandinavian soon anyway.

So fucking solid, Good stuff Renegades! Look how much better Ustilo and Jks are playing since NAF left, Jks and NAF's roles collided too much and Ustilo was too busy baiting for NAF that he couldn't focus on his own game, I know it's early but Jkaem look's like a really nice fit
