Quantum Bellator Fire invited to Copenhagen Games

This year's Copenhagen Games will have a minimum prize pool of $100,000 as the organizers of the Danish event struck a partnership deal with television provider Waoo. Ten days ago, North became the first invited team in the tournament.

QBF will be in Denmark in March

Quantum Bellator Fire will join Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen's team in Copenhagen, Denmark from March 28 to April 1. The Russians put on astounding performances at ELEAGUE Major 2018 where they reached the quarter-finals and secured a Legends spot.

The Russian squad's coach has expressed his excitement about the invite, saying they thought to themselves that they'd be a part of this tournament someday:

"We have followed Copenhagen Games in the past, watched the games on stream and each time we thought to ourselves: we're going to be a part of that someday." said Dmitry "iksou" Mikhaylichenko, QBF's coach.

"And now we're invited to play in the main tournament, that's a fantastic feeling. We're going to visit Denmark and see wonderful Copenhagen, we're very excited about this invite!"

The remaining two invites, tournament format, and prize money distribution will be revealed as the tournament date draws near. There will also be four open qualifiers to round out the team list.
