MVP PK, AGO to StarLadder ImbaTV Invitational Chongqing playoffs

The event kicked off with Vega Squadron beating SCARZ Absolute 16-9 on Cache, followed by MVP PK defeating local side TYLOO on Cobblestone, also by the same scoreline.

Later on, both victors battled it out on Inferno in Group A's winners' match. Starting out as Terrorists, Vega Squadron managed to pick up a quick 4-1 lead, but a strong defence from MVP PK saw them lose only two more rounds to switch sides with a 9-6 lead.

MVP PK beat Vega Squadron to move on to the event's playoffs

In the second half, the Korean team further added to their lead after winning their T-side pistol, 12-6. Although Vega Squadron still tried to mount a comeback by stringing four rounds together, MVP PK remained calm and collected to finish things off, 16-9, and book their place in the event's playoffs.

In Group B, AGO and Spirit breezed past BOOT-d[S] and Flash on Train and Cobblestone, respectively, both by 16-6 scorelines.

The group's winners' match, on Cobblestone, saw the Polish side get off to a flying start, securing a five-round streak after losing their T-side pistol. After that, AGO kept playing at a very high pace and closed out the half with a commanding 12-3 lead. In the second half, the Polish remained in the control, dropping just three rounds before taking the map.
