ESL One Belo Horizonte SA closed qualifier set to start

The South American closed qualifier for ESL One Belo Horizonte is about to start, with eight teams competing for a spot at the $200,000 event.

Running from April 24 to May 9, the qualifier will feature a double-elimination bracket that will culminate in a best-of-five grand final, with the team coming out of the upper bracket having a one-map advantage.

FURIA, Isurus, Luminosity and Não Tem Como were all invited by ESL, while the remaining four teams were determined by online qualifiers open to players from the region.

fnx's NTC will take on YeaH! in the first round

The qualifier will start with a number of interesting matches. Não Tem Como will play their first match with Vito "⁠kNgV-⁠" Giuseppe and Marcelo "⁠chelo⁠" Cespedes against ESEA Open Brazil winners Yeah, while Lucas "⁠steel⁠" Lopes will make his debut for Luminosity against C4 knowing that his team's chances will be hampered by the fact that his teammates will be facing ping issues as they are still in North America.
