Sharks qualify for ESL Pro League Finals
Sharks won the ESL Latin America Bo5 final on LAN against FURIA, 3-1, and earned a spot in the ESL Pro League Finals in Dallas.
The Brazilian team Sharks made it to the final by beating the Argentinean team Isurus in the online semi-finals while the youngsters of FURIA knocked their countrymen W7M out of contention.
In the final, the more experienced Sharks were able to win the first two maps 16-14, including an in-extremis defuse by Sharks after a 5vs5 retake in the thirtieth round of the first map. Close crucial results that would prove to be vital for the resolution of the Bo5.

Set on LAN in Sao Paulo, Sharks' more experienced roster was then able to close it out on Cache, 16-13, despite giving up Cobblestone—their second pick—16-4, as FURIA failed to show up during some crucial moments. This will mark Renato "nak" Nakano's return to the ESL Pro League stage, where he was last seen as the coach of Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo & co.'s Keyd Stars in 2015.
Now, Sharks will face the IEM Sydney semi-finalists and ESL Pro League top placed team in Europe, MOUZ, in the first round of the ESL Pro League finals set to be played in Dallas on May 15-20, where $750,000 will be on the line.
