Windigo, ex-Splyce secure EPL spots; EnVyUs, Swole Patrol to MDL
Windigo and ex-Splyce have assured themselves of a spot in the next season of ESL Pro League, while EnVyUs and Swole Patrol will play in the 28th season of ESEA MDL.
The European consolidation final of the Pro League relegation kicked off on Windigo's map pick, Train, but it was Envy who got off to a flying start, constantly overwhelming the Bulgarians' strategies to bag a 12-3 lead by half-time. EnVyUs' run would not stop in the second half, and quickly finished things off, 16-4.

Envy' map pick, Cache, saw Windigo secure a narrow 8-7 half-time lead as CTs. Just like on Train, however, the team who had picked the map could not stop their opponents from closing it out, this time around with Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov and co. taking the series to a third map with a 16-11 victory.
Starting out as Terrorists on the decider map, Inferno, Windigo completely shut down the defence to go up 11-4 before switching sides. From that moment, there was little that the Frenchmen could do to halt Windigo, who went on to seal the deal with a 16-5 scoreline.

Meanwhile, ex-Splyce took on Swole Patrol in the North American consolidation final. With Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland leading the charge with a 1.60 rating, ex-Splyce, who were down 7-8 by half-time, closed out their map pick, Cache, with a near-flawless T-side, 16-10.

On Inferno, ex-Splyce started things off on the right foot, losing a single round of the first six. Swole Patrol managed to reduce the deficit to just one round by half-time, however, and then followed that up with a massive run to lead by four rounds. ex-Splyce would still be able to take the map to overtime, but Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir and co. did not let their map pick slip away from them.
The decider, Train, saw ex-Splyce secure a comfortable 11-4 half-time lead as CTs. And even though Swole Patrol still proved that they did not want to throw in the towel after Rickeh clutched a 1v2 in the second pistol, eventually reaching the 10-round mark, the Australian put the last nail in the coffin following a successful 1v1 in the 26th round.
