NiP invited to ESL One Cologne

Ninjas in Pyjamas have been invited to attend ESL One Cologne, the event's organisers have revealed.

Ninjas in Pyjamas become the tenth team confirmed for the German event, joining a star-studded list that includes all the current top five teams in the world, bar MOUZ.

A quarter-finalist in Cologne last year, Ninjas in Pyjamas are in action at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals, where a defeat to SK in their opening match has put the team on the brink of elimination.

With Ninjas in Pyjamas's announcement, there is now just one invite left to be announced. The other five spots that are still up for grabs will be filled through the online qualifiers that will be held in Europe, North America and Asia, and the GG.BET Majestic tournament.

The team list for the German event currently looks as follows:

ESL One Cologne will run from July 3-8, with the last three days of the event being held at the LANXESS Arena. Featuring a $300,000 prize-pool, the tournament will count towards the prestigious Intel Grand Slam prize.

100 % sure its Mouz. VP maybe gets an invite to the closed Qualifier or even the gg.bet Qualifier in the last Stage or Playoffs. Only reason why Mouz wouldn't be there is if the declined the invite.
