acoR joins Squared; KS out

The former North Academy player, Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand, has now joined the ranks of Squared, the fifth highest ranked team in Denmark according to Dust2.dk.

acoR, whose last recorded performance was standing in for North in an ESL Pro League match against G2 in April, has now found a new home in Squared, his first team since the dissolution of North Academy.

acoR will pick up the AWP in Squared

The Dane, who picked up the AWP in North Academy after Daniel "⁠mertz⁠" Mertz was called up to the first team, will be stepping into Kevin "⁠KS⁠" Svenningsen's shoes, and will be once again manning the big green.

"It's a bit ambivalent to say goodbye to Kevin after 10 months of cooperation. We are incredibly sorry that such good a friend, unfortunately, isn't a part of the team anymore. I have nothing but good words for Kevin. He will definitely be missed. With the last couple of months in my mind, it was unfortunately clear that we needed some fresh blood. With acoR as a replacement we raise our level both individually and our experience as a team. He has an insanely high level that can help us to take the next step."

With this movement, KS will join the free agency market in Denmark, while acoR will try and keep the upward momentum of the team going.
