Moche XL EsportsHellRaisers to Moche XL grand final over Giants
HellRaisers have advanced to the grand final at Moche XL Esports after beating Giants 2-1 in the semi-finals (8-16 on Dust2, 19-15 on Overpass, and 16-13 on Train).
The best-of-three semi-final between HellRaisers and Giants started on Dust2. HellRaisers picked up the pistol round on the CT-side but Alejandro "alex" Masanet clutched a 1vs1 in the second round to tie up the game.
HellRaisers won four rounds in a row after being down 3-1, taking a 5-3 lead. Then Giants started clicking on the T-side, winning six of the remaining seven rounds in the first half to finish it 9-6 ahead.
Giants secured the pistol round in the second half and Omar "arki" Chakkor clutched a 1vs3 in the following round to make it 11-6. Even though HellRaisers won the third round of the half, they couldn't start a streak and Giants closed out the game 16-8.
Joao "KILLDREAM" Ferreira & co. won the pistol round on Overpass where they were on the T-side in the first half. However, HellRaisers' force buy in the second round worked as they tied the score. Kyrylo "ANGE1" Karasiow's team grabbed five more rounds to lead 6-1 and maintained their five-round lead to finish the first half 10-5 ahead.
Giants prevailed in the second half pistol round with a 5vs5 retake and got their seventh round after winning the following anti-eco round. HellRaisers grabbed the third round of the half with an early buy but Giants responded swiftly with two rounds of their own (11-9).
HellRaisers acquired six map points by making it 15-9 but Giants came back to take the match to overtime with a six-round streak. HellRaisers won the first three rounds in overtime and closed out the map 19-15 thanks to Bence "DeadFox" Böröcz's 1vs2 clutch.
Giants kicked off Train on the T-side and picked up the pistol round with Ricardo "roman" Oliveira's quad kill in a 2vs4. HellRaisers hit back with three round wins to take the early lead but Giants dominated the half to win it 10-5.
arki and alex both got double kills in the second half pistol round to extend Giants' lead to 11-5. HellRaisers' trend of winning force buys continued as they won the following round thanks to Özgür "woxic" Eker's triple kill, trailing 11-6.
HellRaisers managed to close the gap and and tied the game at 13-13. Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk's team won the map 16-13 and the series 2-1, advancing to the grand final at Moche XL Esports.
