mousesports replace STYKO with Snax

Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski has joined MOUZ to replace Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk.

The 24-year-old Polish player has completed his move to MOUZ a day after it was announced that he wouldn't be playing in Virtus.pro's ESEA MDL matches against Vexed and Valiance.

Snax replaced STYKO who had been a part of MOUZ since August, 2017 when he joined from HellRaisers. With this transfer, he has been moved to a substitute position.

Snax is now a part of mousesports

Snax, on the other hand, had been with Virtus.pro since the start of 2014. During his tenure with VP, he won a Major as well as various other tournaments, earned seven HLTV MVP awards, and placed in the top five of our Top 20 Players of the Year list on three separate occasions.

MOUZ CEO Cengiz Tüylü has said in his statement that the transfer has been completed in time for Snax to be able to play for MOUZ at ESL One Cologne which will take place on July 3-8.

"We are glad to welcome Snax to our CS:GO roster after a very eventful week. Once we realized that Snax was open to leave the legendary Golden Five lineup and to join mousesports, he immediately became our number one priority." said Cengiz Tüylü, the CEO of mousesports.

"I would like to thank the Virtus.pro organization for the smooth negotiation process on short notice, which allows us to see Snax' mousesports debut at ESL One Cologne next week."

Snax has stated that he was happy to get a fresh start but expressed his sadness to leave Virtus.pro, which he called his "second home".

"From now on, I am a mousesports player. I'm really happy to join a new team and I think we all needed a fresh start. Of course I'm a bit sad that I'm leaving my second home that is Virtus.pro, but sometimes you need to go forward and stop looking back." said Snax.

"I hope this will be a good change for both sides and that my former mates at VP will wish me luck, as I wish them the best to get back to form and to be on the top again. Cheers to everyone out there, we will be great."

you didn't read what I wrote then. because I never said that he's a bot, or that him being a support player excuses him from being a bot. I actually pointed to his stats that show his performance in form of raw numbers is JUST below the average of the pool of pro players out there. if you take into consideration what he does in-game, like on T side holding pushes from CTs while his team executes... ofcourse he's gonna have lower than avg stats... when his team successfully executes, he's so far away from the action that the most likely scenario is he's not gonna see a CT that round, maybe 1 but no actual chance for a multi kill... if the plan from his team fails... he's usually in a disadvantage that its unwinnable for the most part. you're not going to see him running in on 2nd round with a mac10 cleaning the site of easy eco kills. you'll see him playing safe behind his team with a shitty galil to make sure the aggresiveness of his teammates doesnt bite em in the ass. And finally... no, mouz kicking him doesn't mean their are right about the move, it means they feel they need it to become better, not that they are factually right. I could name a couple dozen transfers that ended up making a team worse than what they started with from the 15 years I've been following pro cs

There's yet another problem with this transfer and that is motivation. Everyone knows that Oskar's motivation is sometimes questionable and without Styko around I'm pretty sure that's only gonna get worse. I also noticed that Snax was shit talking many of his ex-teammates, meaning he might not be the perfect fit to this friendly environment. He's gonna tilt a lot when they lose and that will make comebacks almost impossible. 2 emotional players in 1 team doesn't mean anything good.

Actually Styko was not a trash. He was a quite good, not near best tho, support-player. I hope he gets place in a good team. Snax is, or at least might be, better but we will see how it goes.

I hated styko quite a bit in past, i think hes decent support, but he is just too weak for T1 team (lower hes fine). I just dont think snax is the answer... at all actually. I will be happy if they (as a team) will prove me wrong, but till then....

Hated is maybe a bit of overstatement, but it is common word to use in here. Lets say i was not satisfied with his performances as a fan (i dont bet at all). He seemed to be very weak on CT sides i think he did good job on T sides tho. If snax can support and bring a bit more firepower that might work well, but i am not sure hes right person to do so.

Lol people saying that "STYKO" , a player that can't do a kill 80% of the CT rounds while he plays anchor, and even commonly misses players whonare looking elsewhere, is better than a top 10 of all times CSGO player who was a monster until last year and can play all weapons and almost all positions/roles..
