mir completes trial; joins Gambit on permanent basis

Nikolay "⁠mir⁠" Bityukov has joined Gambit on a permanent basis following his one-month stint on loan.

mir, who has been on trial with Gambit since May 27, has joined the squad on a permanent basis as the organization acquired his contract from Vega Squadron.

The 22-year-old player had been placed on Vega Squadron's transfer list at the start of April after the team started experiencing problems. During his tenure with Vega Squadron, mir has won two CIS Minors and attended two Majors.

Gambit have completed mir's transfer

The Russian player's loan spell with Gambit came about when the team removed Denis "⁠seized⁠" Kostin from their active roster. mir helped Gambit qualify for ESL One Cologne and ESL One New York.

He also attended three LAN events and his team finished 15-16th at SS i-League Season 5, placed 3-4th at DreamHack Open Summer, and 5-6th at ZOTAC Cup Masters Europe Finals.
